A former, University of Dayton’s basketball player, Joe Currin passed away on July 18, 2020. The reason for his death was a massive heart attack. He died while jogging in Venice, Fla. 

Joe Currin was 38 years old at the time he died. He was a corporate attorney for the Caterpillar corporation and shifted to Singapore with his family, a few months ago. 

He is survived by his wife, Callie, and four children ages 5 to 9. The entire family of Joe Currin was on the vacations at the time of Joe’s death.

Joe Currin was a graduate of Moeller High School in Cincinnati. He played in 1992-93 and 1993-94 teams which were coached by Jim O’Brien. Joe Currin completed his graduation from the UD law school.

Visitation was conducted between 5 to 8 p.m on July 27, 2020, at Moeller High School, 9001 Montgomery Road. The ceremonial ceremony was conducted at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montgomery. All the arrangements of the ceremonial were managed by Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home of Loveland.
